Michael DiSantis is a partner in Tressler’s Insurance and Litigation practices. He focuses his practice in the areas of insurance coverage analysis and insurance coverage litigation, assisting insurance companies in resolving complex disputes. He has represented insurance companies in litigated coverage matters in federal and state courts throughout the country, including those involving advertising injury, personal injury, bodily injury and property damage.
Michael received his J.D. with magna cum laude honors from University of Illinois College of law. He currently works out of Tressler’s Pittsburgh office.
Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania.
What was your first job?
I worked as an umpire for little league baseball games for a summer.
What is on your bucket list?
Italy. While I have been fortunate to visit Europe a few times, I have never been to Italy. I would love to see Rome, Venice, Pompeii, the Vatican, etc.
What do you like most about Tressler?
Tressler is a great place for an insurance coverage attorney because of the collegial environment and our Insurance Coverage Practice Group.
What kinds of hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and seeing live music.
What book did you read last?
Playing Through the Whistle by S.L. Price, a book about Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, a town about 30 miles outside of Pittsburgh.
Why did you choose your areas of practice?
I developed an interest in insurance coverage law in a class at law school and as a summer law clerk at Tressler years ago.
